Oktemberfest will take place in a new space along Church St - from mid block alley between 3rd St and 2nd St to Center ( 9th St to 3rd Ave during the Parade),
City Lot H (south of Tremont),
City Lot K (south of Westown Apts) plus grass lot to the east if weather permits, and a section of S 2nd St adjacent to Lot K

S 1st St – 1½ a block south of Main to the alley mid-block north of Linn
Closed to through traffic. Limited for access to 19 Salon & Spa, and to NW corner of Lot H
City Lot H (south of Tremont) will partially close on Wed evening after 5 pm and the rest on Thurs morning between Main St and Church to allow setup of the Main Stage, food vendors, and supporting equipment.
Church St will be open most of the day up Thurs until around 3 pm. At that time, it will begin a slow closure from Center St to mid block between 2nd and 3rd St., to allow for Kid's Night activities.
Church St will open up to through traffic at the close of activities on Thurs by around 9 pm.

Church St and Center St going south will open up to through traffic at the close of activities on Fri by around midnight.

Staging moves back to a combination of W Main, Denmeade, W Church, S 11th and surrounding parking lots around Miller School.
The Parade staging areas merge and starts at 9th St and W Church St. It continues east on Church St to 2nd Ave where it splits to turn north or south as needed to disembark, or for bus staging for the marching bands.

Lineups and Staging for the Grand Parade starts around Miller School, west Church and west Main around 8 am, with the parade traveling east on Church starting at 10 am.

Parade Staging and Route
Effective Saturday - Sept 27, 2025.
Street closures for portions of the Parade staging and route, along and across the parade route and staging areas.
Closures and restricted travel will start around 8AM Saturday morning for the start of the parade staging, and will remain Closed until the end of the parade. Everything west of 3rd St will be opened at the end of the parade.
Please do not drive across people's lawns to get around the barricades in place for the safety of all participants and coordinators. Plan accordingly with alternate routes around this area, and remind employees/coworkers as needed. If you live in this area, you will be receiving a postcard reminder to have all vehicles along the route moved to an alternate side street for that day.
North/South traffic should use Center St, or west of S 12th St.
An Emergency vehicle crossing will be maintained at Church and 3rd St for Police, Fire, or Ambulance needs.

All food vendors are expected to be loaded out by Sun evening.
The Main Stage and vendors will be removed from Lot H by Sun afternoon or evening, and open to normal traffic by Sun evening/Mon morning after cleanup is finished, and the carnival moved out of Lot K.
The Carnival will have most or all of its equipment moved out by Sun evening. That will allow final cleanup late Sun and to open Lot K and S 2nd St to normal traffic after cleanup.
Church St will remain closed from Center St to S 2nd St until the carnival is done moving equipment out of Lot K. When they are done Sun evening, all streets will reopen to normal traffic.
