Classic cars, new cars and trucks will be filling Marshalltown’s Main St. on Friday night.
As many as 100 cars & trucks will be on display from local auto dealers showing their newest models to classic automobiles from years ago. Music and food vendors complete the experience for car enthusiasts and spectators alike as they stroll along main street and view the cars.
A new category has been added this year to recognize the best off road truck in the show. Vehicles begin arriving at 5 p.m. with registration at the intersection of Center & Main Streets.
Other award classes include Best Ford Car, Best Mopar, Best GM Car, Best Import Car, Best Convertible, Best Motorcycle, Best Paint job, Overall People’s Choice, and a special award for the Mayor’s Choice.
To help our local downtown businesses we will not be closing the street till 4:00pm. NO classic cars will be permitted to park until 5:00pm.
The entrance for all cars will be the corner of W. Main Street & 2nd Street.
All car drivers/owners must register at the registration table on the corner of Main and Center.
Voting will take place from 7:00pm-7:45pm. The voting is done by those that register cars.
8:30pm in the center of Main in front of the Court House will be the awards.
